Director / Associate Director, Consumer & Lifestyle Public Relations and Marketing Practice, Global Consultancy ( HONG KONG )
We are seeking an experienced Director of Consumer, PR and Integrated Communications for a rapidly growing award-winning global PR and IMC consultancy. This role will play a key role as part of the leadership team driving growth across Greater China (Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the mainland) you will help balance the big-picture vision with a hands-on approach, ensuring flawless execution of public relations & influence, creative, and integrated solutions while fostering collaboration across teams. Your role will be pivotal in building long-lasting partnerships with clients, ensuring projects are delivered seamlessly, and inspiring teams to deliver their best work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building trust and credibility while maintaining a clear understanding of their business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Take ownership of campaign strategies, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring every project aligns with client objectives and is delivered on time and on budget.
- Account Growth: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand client accounts by introducing new services, solutions, and ideas that drive measurable results.
- Creative Excellence: Champion bold, creative thinking across teams and ensure all outputs meet the highest quality standards, from initial concepts to final deliverables.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Coach and guide team members to deliver exceptional results while supporting their professional growth.
- Media & Event Strategy: Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale events and media strategies, ensuring every detail is managed effectively and delivers maximum impact.
- Content Development: Collaborate with teams to produce a wide range of materials, including press releases, presentations, articles, and campaign collateral, that reflect the client’s vision and objectives.
- New Business Development: Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, pitches, and presentations that showcase the client’s capabilities and value.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with a minimum of three years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Production Expertise: Significant exposure to managing photography and video productions.
- Influencer Campaign Expertise: Strong background in managing influencer marketing initiatives, with experience coordinating multiple influencers for integrated campaigns.
- Digital Savvy: Deep understanding of digital and social media landscapes, with the ability to develop cohesive campaigns and strategies that drive results across platforms.
- Leadership Skills: A confident, empathetic leader who can inspire teams, adapt to different working styles, and foster collaboration and accountability.
- Creative Passion: A commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality work that resonates with clients and audiences alike.
- Communication Strength: Polished communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and confidently represent the agency in key meetings.
