This is where you come in as our Community Manager, a role that goes beyond traditional social media management to become the cornerstone of our brand culture.
As the Community Manager, you're not just filling a role; you're embarking on a mission to knit together the fabric of LOJEL's community. You'll be the mastermind behind crafting an environment where our members don't just engage with our products but immerse themselves in a brand culture rich with shared values and experiences. To develop and deepen our community's relationship with LOJEL, providing compelling reasons for members to return, engage, and connect with each other and the brand beyond the point of purchase.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Redefine and elevate LOJEL's approach to community engagement, focusing on creating a brand culture that encourages connection, inspiration, and loyalty.
- Lead and inspire a team dedicated to community engagement, overseeing initiatives that span from in-person and virtual events to influencer collaborations and comprehensive social media strategies.
- Pioneer the development and execution of an editorial strategy that integrates seamlessly with on-site content, ensuring a unified narrative that strengthens our community bond and elevates the LOJEL brand.
- Utilize insights from community engagement metrics to refine strategies, enhance content effectiveness, and steer the editorial direction, ensuring our community feels heard and valued.
- Partner with marketing and creative teams to deliver captivating on-site content and editorial pieces that resonate deeply with our community, highlighting our brand's ethos and enriching the community experience.
- Apply and support related sustainability initiatives.
YOUR CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-regional, multi-channel content and community management role, with a proven track record of nurturing and growing engaged online communities and driving sales.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of leading diverse initiatives simultaneously on global and regional scales.
- Awareness of ESG-related initiatives and the ability to apply them effectively; prior experience in sustainability projects or with sustainable companies is an advantage.
- Proficient in budget control and management, ensuring alignment with defined KPIs.
- Plan and implement content strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok, aligning with LOJEL's brand goals and campaign calendar.
- Oversee content planning and production in partnership with the in-house studio manager to execute the content calendar effectively.
- Act as gatekeeper for regional social media planning and execution, aligning quantitative and qualitative outputs based on marketing investments to drive engagement through paid and organic initiatives.
- Manage external agencies to ensure alignment on paid initiatives, content, and KPIs for optimal budget utilization.
- Collaborate with the Digital team to align on paid initiatives, content, and KPIs to optimize budget use.
- Leverage insights from regularly produced reports to develop strategies for measuring performance, audience growth, and engagement levels.
- Measure and analyze campaign impacts, producing actionable, data-driven reports that provide valuable insights.
- Own and drive global and regional influencer marketing and user-generated content (UGC) programs.
- Negotiate partnership terms, including usage rights, budget, and creative direction, to ensure favorable outcomes for LOJEL while maintaining positive, long-term relationships.
- Serve as an in-house consultant and strategic partner for regions on UGC, social media, and influencer marketing initiatives.
- Support the Head of Global Marketing with ad hoc tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Highly organized and driven by timelines/milestones.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in crisis management on social media platforms.
- Proactive in identifying and raising potential issues.
- Multi-channel marketing experience is essential.
- Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset with skills in resource planning, production scheduling, and budget optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
- Background in FMCG, retail, fast fashion, athleisure, or lifestyle sectors.
- Experience collaborating with studio managers, including videographers, photographers, designers, and copy editors.
- Hands-on experience in content creation from scratch is a plus.
- Experience with paid social and digital marketing, preferably on a regional scale.
- Awareness of trends and guidelines for platforms (Meta, Google, etc.).
- Strong content creation and storytelling abilities.
- Experience in managing partnerships with brands/influencers, campaign management, or building brand ambassador programs.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to mentor team members.
