IT Summer Intern 2025

ActusRayPartners is a fast-growing emerging asset management company based in Hong Kong. Founded in 2019, the investment manager applies a Discretionary Probabilistic Investing process to alternative strategies. The investment process is built upon a quantitative framework on which the company overlays a discretionary strategy across hundreds of positions. We have a collaboration agreement with Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited (SEHK:86), a listed financial services company. ActusRayPartners aims for the best in terms of consistent risk-adjusted performance, operations and client communications.

With the growth of the business and an array of opportunities ahead for a potential candidate, ActusRayPartners is looking for a Summer Intern to join the Research, Development and Implementation (RDI) team. The team covers a wide range of roles and responsibilities ranging from quantitative research and data management to coding, development and support of IT infrastructure for the company as a whole.

Job Description:

• Develop front-office tools that facilitate stock analysis, portfolio management, as well as other business lines

• Assist in Level 1 technology support

•Assist in resolution of technical problems across different operating systems and enterprise software

• Work with IT integrators to manage our user computing and server requirements for the business

• Assist in research ad-hoc projects

Qualifications and experience:

• University students in their sophomore to penultimate year studying technology related field such as engineering department, computer science or related disciplines

•Previous experience in relevant technology role is a plus

•Experience in Python is a plus

•Experience in VBA is a plus

•Experience in Software Development is a plus

•Fluent in English
