Job Responsibilities:


IBP

  • Preparation of summary and analysis to support the IBP (List Sales & Trade Spend & Selling of AOP & Projection) numbers and explain the fluctuations and assumptions during the DR and IR
  • Weekly Sales Call / Rainbow Call.


Trade Spend, Selling Expenses and Channel Profitability

  • Lead team to provide the Net Sales by Brand Report for ILT & SLT Deck. Prepare trade spend allocation per brand and pack to support the Brand Profitability Reporting.
  • Lead team to provide the Channel Profitability reporting.
  • Lead team to provide the Trade Spend planning, reporting, and effectiveness analysis of key programs in both Modern Trade and General Trade. This includes monthly projection and annual budgeting, the analysis of the actuals against the projection / budget and provide analysis and/or support Sales team for the Trade Spend Governance.
  • Ensure trade spend not exceed the annual budget & projection, and in line with Promo Plan. Monitoring and ensure reasonableness of Trade Accruals, including estimating promo costs and resolving the open deductions.
  • Monitor the Salesman Subsidy costs, SPG costs, and the overall Selling Expenses. This includes monthly projection and annual budgeting. Ensure selling costs not exceed the annual budget & projection. Monitoring and ensure reasonableness of the accruals.


Transaction processing

  • Lead the transaction processing and verification (trade spend & selling expenses claims from both Modern Trade Key Accounts and Distributors) to comply with the requirements and the payment term.
  • Supervise expenses reimbursement verification of the Area Sales team.
  • Visit the Distributors for claims verifications, bad stock destruction verification, and other investigations and resolve issues, if applicable.
  • Lead the transactional settlements related to Distributor termination and induction of the new Distributors, if applicable.


Marketing A&C, Brand Profitability and NPD

  • Marketing A&C budgeting, monthly projection and controlling (ensure Marketing A&C not exceed budget through strong control & monitoring).
  • Supervise the Month end closing of Marketing A&C, including the journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Monitor aged and ensure reasonableness of Marketing (A&C) Accruals, including the Monthly Balance Sheet review.
  • Compliance of transactional & accounting aspects related to Marketing A&C.
  • Brand Profitability reporting & analysis.
  • Annual Brand Plan.
  • NPD financial analysis (Pre & Post Launch), including the Volume build, Trade Spend planning, Marketing A&C planning, and the analysis of actuals vs PAD.


Month End Activities & Compliance

  • Manage the month-end closing and reconciliations of Sales, Trade Spend and Selling Expenses. Including the Monthly Balance Sheet review of Trade Accruals, Selling Accruals, and other month end deliverables.
  • Supervise the sales Incentive calculation based on Net Sales.
  • Supervise the Maintenance of BPCS database (price, discount, and customer database).
  • Ensure compliance of transactions to the policies and procedures.
  • Serve Corporate Audit & External Audit.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum bachelor’s degree of Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance / accounting, preferably in multinational FMCG
  • company and experience of working within Sales Finance function and FP&A or Commercial Finance.
  • Strong analytical thinking and strong capability to manage timelines & deliverables.
  • Good cross functional coordination, having a ‘can do’ attitude, independent, proactive.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and related applications is required.
  • Knowledge and experience with BPCS system and/or SQL / OLAP cubes are preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • English proficient.
