Sime Motors is the automotive arm of Sime and is involved in the retail, distribution, and assembly businesses. It has a presence in ten markets across the Asia Pacific region.

In Hong Kong and Macau, we are dedicated to providing high-quality products and excellent aftersales services. We are the exclusive distributor and retailer for established brands such as  BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce, Suzuki, Peugeot, and Mitsubishi . In the commercial vehicle segment, we also own the exclusive distributorship for  Mitsubishi Fuso  trucks and buses as well as  JAC  trucks. We provide excellent aftersales service in Hong Kong and Macau through fully equipped service centres across the region. Besides, we are the sole agent of automotive sales and after-sales service for  Denso  products.

You'll be bringing these values to us… 

• Work closely with different departments for receipt verification and payment approval
• Work closely with shared service center teams in Kuala Lumpur on daily accounting operations
• Perform general daily accounting duties, e.g. cheque preparation, cashier order, etc.
• Follow up bank reconciliation items with operations
• Facilitate the month-end closing process for the respective operating units
• Assist in financial reports preparation
• Assist in statutory audit
• Assist in budgets and rolling forecasts
• Handle any ad hoc assignments as required
• Willing to work overtime (weekend / public holiday for month-end closing with compensation leave provided)

You’ll be a Great Talent, if you possess… 

• Higher Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Diploma holder with LCCI Level 2 will also be considered
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A multi-task player in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Work Location: Tsuen Wan (7-10 minutes’ walk from MTR) 
• Candidates with more experience would be considered as Senior Accounting Officer
