About the role

We are seeking a skilled Works Supervisor to join our team at Architecture Design And Research Group Limited. As a Works Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating construction projects in the Mong Kok Yau Tsim Mong District. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic company committed to delivering high-quality projects.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards
  • Monitor project progress and identify any potential issues, taking appropriate actions to resolve them
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, cost estimates, and other documentation
  • Provide training and guidance to workers to improve their skills and productivity
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and methods

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Works Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders
  • Commitment to ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Certificate in Building or Building Studies from a Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Polytechnic or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College or equivalent.
