Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Defi Quantitative Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in executing on-chain trading strategies and possess a deep understanding of Defi mechanisms and blockchain-based trading opportunities. A strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience in on-chain environments, and the ability to develop and implement sophisticated trading algorithms in alignment with our market-neutral approach are essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize trading strategies for on-chain environments, focusing on high-frequency and market-neutral approaches.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trading opportunities, leveraging data from blockchain networks and Defi protocols.
• Build and refine trading algorithms, incorporating real-time data feeds, smart contract interactions, and automated execution protocols.
• Implement robust risk management techniques to ensure strategies align with the firm’s risk tolerance and market conditions.
• Continuously monitor strategy performance, adjusting and enhancing algorithms to maintain a competitive edge and maximize returns.
• Work closely with other traders, developers, and researchers to enhance trading models, share insights, and drive collective success.



Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in running trading strategies on-chain, with a solid understanding of DeFi protocols, market making, and on-chain liquidity - work done both in a professional and/or personal capacity will be considered.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, Javascript or other relevant languages used in blockchain trading. Familiarity with smart contract development and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, consensus mechanisms, and the functionality of various DeFi platforms and protocols.
• Experience with blockchain data tools, trading platforms, and analytical software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and exploiting trading opportunities.
