The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Infrastructure Assistant Manager to join our team. Based in HK, this role will be primarily responsible for managing Level 1 & Level 2 operation support and overseeing the infrastructure needs of our Hong Kong office and stores. In the capacity of a regional role, this person is also responsible for working with local markets’ IT to come up with regional support model and ensure certain governance are in place to improve support SLA. The person will assist the Infrastructure Manager on other assigned infrastructure tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
What you will do:
- Manage the Helpdesk and IT support for the Hong Kong office and stores, including hardware, software, network, and telecommunication systems.
- Provide Level 2 operational support for IT infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide training and support to level 1 onsite support and end-users on infrastructure-related topics and aim to improve SLA and drive RCA for ticket resolution.
- Deliver dedicated support to regional VIP users.
- Work with local IT teams to review existing support model and come up with improvement plans.
- Collaborate with regional and local IT teams to implement and maintain infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and policies.
- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery and maintenance of infrastructure services.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, safeguarding company data and assets.
- Support the Regional Infrastructure Manager with budget management, procurement activities, and the invoicing process.
What we are looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent experience with at least 10 years in I.T. or related field
- Professional certificate holder of Microsoft 365 / Azure / VMWare / ITIL / PMP / CCNA / CCNP will be an advantage
- At least 10 years working experience in supporting the regional IT infrastructure operations and projects. Experience in the retail industry is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge in administrating Microsoft Technologies including Windows 10/11, Active Directory, GPO, Microsoft 365 APPS, SCCM, Intune, Microsoft Exchange (hybrid), DHCP, DNS, Cisco Switch and Router, Cisco VPN, Zscaler Proxy. Solid experience in Windows Servers, PowerShell scripting, VMWare, Dell Storage, Veeam Backup and Azure.
- Must be able to communicate in English & Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) for verbal and written communication.
