West Island School is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Geography to start in August 2025 on a full-time, 2-year renewable contract by mutual agreement.
West Island School’s Geography Department has attained the Secondary Geography Quality Mark and is recognized as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for fieldwork by the Geographical Association. We take pride in creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters exploration and discovery, encouraging students to engage deeply with the subject. The Individuals and Societies (I&S) faculty comprises about 14 staff members, with two already specializing in Geography.
