Our client in the payments space is looking for a Finance Lead in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage regulatory finance for APAC entities, including safeguarding, reporting, and compliance.
• Develop and update finance policies to meet regulatory standards.
• Prepare accurate regulatory reports and ensure timely submissions.
• Oversee safeguarding controls and compliance with transaction timelines.
• Support new financial licenses and evaluate regulatory impacts.
• Contribute to budgets, cash flow projections, and process improvements.

Qualifications Desired:

• 7+ years of finance / accounting experience (fintech, banking and financial intuition a plus)
• 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial compliance, or finance regulation within the fintech or financial services sector
• Experience in financial license implementations
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with advanced ERP system
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
