Ralph Lauren Asia Pacific is looking for a motivated and digital savvy Front-End Developer (Product & UX/UI) to join the digital e-commerce design team. The Front-End Developer will partner closely with our digital content operations and designer team for multiple APAC markets. The candidate must be well versed in the digital world and can utilize digital to elevate the customer and brand experience using front-end Development. The role requires a detail oriented, driven, and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and develop site content based on creative briefs to support e-commerce and digital initiatives
• Support engineering in HTML & CSS updates with a bit of JS (layout changes, image swaps, and cross-platform quality assurance).
• Work closely with Production and e-commerce teams to ensure timely website refresh and content updates
• Refresh and maintain website content by using SFCC Business Manager, CMS
• Product final web pages with an exacting eye, ensuring that layouts, images, text, and links are flawless
• Localize an customize website content, web graphics, target links, campaigns (eg: Banners, feature images, articles, layout, formatting, and styling).
• Proactively monitoring. Brand’s digital properties; support QA of new creative pages and production defects
• Support and enhance the existing CMS
• Willing to learn and keep up with the latest trends in digital technology

Requirements:

• Degree in Web/Multimedia design, Computer Science, information technology, or similar disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years’ of working experience in front-end programming experiences (HTML, HTML5, CSS, Jquery, Ajax, SCSS, etc) or solid experience with JavaScript usage
• Experience with CMS (SFCC BM, wordpress, Drupal, etc)
• Knowledge in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Invision)
• Good sense of UX design in terms of front-end development is an advantage
• Strong understanding of webs standards and latest web technologies, image optimization, and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of responsive, mobile, user interaction, and web design
• Experience in ecommerice is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: English Fluency is a must, Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is a plus
