• A global brokerage firm who offers securities, assest management and corporate financial services is looking for a talented Senior Server Engineer for their IT team to participate in various sizeable projects.

Your new role

• Take charge of Windows and Linux operating system installation, configuration, upkeep, and optimisation to guarantee the systems run steadily.
• Create, configure, migrate, and troubleshoot virtual machines as part of managing and maintaining the VMware virtualisation infrastructure.
• Preserve the automated platform for operation and maintenance, take part in its enhancement and optimisation, and raise the effectiveness of operation and maintenance.
• Ensure the regular operation of web services by being proficient in Nginx configuration, deployment, and optimisation.
• Install, set up, and maintain middleware (such as WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.) every day. Address middleware-related issues as soon as they arise
• Handle the Exchange mail server's setup, deployment, upkeep, and administration.
• Deal with the Exchange mail server's everyday issues, like sending and receiving emails, managing user permissions, etc.
• Optimise Exchange mail server performance and capacity planning to accommodate expanding company requirements.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in Windows and Linux operating systems to ensure the stable operation of systems

• Be knowledgeable of common commands and tools and effectively administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems

• Possess extensive knowledge of vSphere-related technologies and have extensive expertise administering the VMware virtualisation environment
• Have appropriate expertise utilising and maintaining automated operation and maintenance platforms, such as Kingdee, Prometheus, etc., and be familiar with their architecture and guiding principle
• Become proficient in Nginx configuration and optimisation, and be able to resolve typical performance issues
• Understand typical middleware products and be capable of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting issues on your own
