CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to briefs from the client across a wide range of topics and channels
• Rapid response to client amends
• Ensure tone of voice is upheld throughout all communications and channels
• Liaise with editorial, design and account management teams
• Guide Content Editors on EDM and membership content production

DAY TO DAY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Guide content through creation process
• Create and edit compelling, engaging copy at every point
• Work with Content Editors on content creation
• Oversee client amends throughout the approval process
• Have input into the planning process for client meetings and forums
• Attend client meetings
• Upload and publish stories on digital platforms
• Some scope to research, plan, write and edit editorial stories and features
• Some scope to work on video content

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

• Ability to adopt and channel brand messaging and tone of voice flawlessly
• First-class writing, editing and sub-editing
• Superb knowledge and understanding of digital best practice, including SEO, EDMs, editorial design and social media
• Experience with CMS and digital content publishing
• Ability to manage budgets
• Presentation and persuasion skills
• Understanding of client priorities
• Communication skills – keeping your editors and our clients informed
• Knowledge of trends and industry data
• Strategic thinking
• Knowledge of Traditional and Simplified Chinese a significant advantage

• Reports to Content Director
• Direct report: Content Editor, Editorial Assistant
