About the role

ChickenSoup Foundation Limited is seeking a driven and compassionate Account & Admin Assistant to join our team in Sham Shui Po, Sham Shui Po District. 

What you'll be doing

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts
• Support monthly and yearly closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure accurate budget tracking and reporting
• Coordinate and deliver a range of community-based programmes and activities to address social issues
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies and community partners, to ensure effective service delivery
• Identify and respond to emerging community needs, contributing to the development of new initiatives
• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

• Higher Diploma in Accounting or above
• Accounting experience, preferably in the NGO sector
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MYOB
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solutions-focused mindset
• Demonstrated understanding of social issues and the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable individuals and families
• Strong team Player, self-motivated
• Proficiency in both English and Cantonese, with Mandarin an advantage
