Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strategic business applications and ensure the smooth operation of existing systems.
• Take part in the full software development lifecycle, including system design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation.
• Prepare required technical documentation in compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and define user requirements.
• Translate user requirements into system specifications and develop appropriate solutions.
• Provide on-call support for critical production incidents and deliver rapid troubleshooting and resolution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline, with over 10 years of experience in mission-critical system development, ideally within the financial sector (for Architect-level candidates).
• Strong expertise in Visual Basic programming.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • z/OS, CICS, COBOL, and VSAM.
  • Java EE technologies and web-based application development.
  • MT and MX messaging systems.
• Additional knowledge in technologies such as EJB, XML, XSL, Servlets, JMS, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, Jasper Reports, WAS, WebSphere MQ, Spring, and SQL is advantageous.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and familiarity with banking or financial institutions is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Senior Specialist position.
