We are looking for an Analyst II for the Product Development Team in Hong Kong who will support the development and management of Principal products. This role involves assisting with research, coordination, and communication to help ensure our products align with market needs and the firm’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of the asset management industry, and will be eager to deepen their expertise through hands-on experience.


What You'll Do
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new products and enhancements to existing fund offerings. Ensure product solutions are competitive and meeting client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, assess competitor products, and determine product feasibility. Use insights to influence product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Coordinate product development projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and meet quality standards. Track project progress and assist in resolving any issue for product workstream.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including investment management, legal, compliance, and operations, to gather required information and help ensure product initiatives comply with regulations and business needs.
  • Assist in preparing product-related documents, including specifications, business case, and other reports. Maintain organized documentation for easy access and reference.
  • Support stakeholder communication by providing timely updates on product development activities. Assist in organizing meetings and preparing materials for internal audiences.
  • Aid the sales and marketing teams in developing product collateral, addressing client inquiries, and preparing training materials related to products.

Requirements

Who You Are
  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economic, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant investment analysis/ investment operation experience gained within asset management, investment and/or pension fund industry
  • Have keen interest in developing a career in mutual fund and/or pension fund industry
  • Attentive to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, able to work under pressure and multi-tasks with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Conversant with Bloomberg and Excel, other financial/ investment tool experience welcome
  • SFC license holders preferred (Type 4 and 9)
