Responsibilities

• Review and closely monitor overseas subsidiaries from finance perspective with thorough understanding of their operations, businesses and future plans 
• Communicate with overseas subsidiaries to improve and/ or maintain good internal control 
• Responsible and accountable for relevant, accurate and timely monthly financial & other management information makes available to HK headquarter from overseas subsidiaries & ensure effectiveness in financial reporting 
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget and forecast as well as prepare variance analysis reports
• Analyze business performance of the current operations to the management team in different business units; 
• Provide on-going improvements to the management reporting mechanism to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency
• Set up and configure ERP or Accounting system 
• Occasional on-site review on local financial and operational data to enhance the reporting and budgeting process
• Participate in ad-hoc analysis and projects

Requirements  

• Degree in Accounting or Finance disciplines
• Qualified accountant and member of the HKICPA or a reputable accounting association
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting/Business Analyst environment gained in sizeable organizations or listed companies, from within, at least 4 years' experience in an international accounting firm 
• Experience in management accounting, tax, ERP / accounting system setup and managing project in other regions e.g. Brazil, Sri Lanka or Middle East will be advantage 
• Experience in PRC firms will be advantage
• Sound knowledge in Hong Kong or International Financial Reporting Standards, Hong Kong Listing Rules and other financial reporting requirements relevant for a sizeable Hong Kong list company 
• Proactive, dynamic, multi-tasking and respond effectively to unexpected requests
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese
