Our client is a fast expanding F&B company with multiple restaurants across Hong Kong. They are currently looking for an Finance Manager to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounting Tasks

• Responsible for daily accounting operations, including account reconciliation, bookkeeping, invoice management, and payment processing.


• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure all costs are categorized correctly.


• Timely, accurate, and complete preparation and submission of monthly financial statements and operational analysis.


• Ensure the completion of annual audits and tax filings with the accounting firm.

Establish and Improve Financial Systems

• Develop and optimize financial policies, expense control systems, monthly budget plans, and cash flow management.

Cost Management

• Manage inventory based on ingredient classification and prepare monthly cost reports and analysis, tracking deviations between actual costs and budgeted figures.


• Review and approve gross profit estimates for menu pricing, monitor financial statistics, and conduct variance analysis.


• Improve and optimize asset management policies and allocation methods.


• Assist in refining manufacturing cost and labor hour calculation methods.

Financial Support for Business Decision-Making

• Provide financial data and recommendations for company strategic decisions, conducting effective risk analysis and assessment.

Reporting

• Report directly to the Finance Director.

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields; CIMA or ACCA certification is preferred.


• At least 5 years of general ledger accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant industry.


• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with POS systems, Eats365, Sage, and ERP systems is an advantage.


• Strong logical thinking, communication skills, self-motivation, learning ability, and resilience under pressure.


• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is required.
