The Department

Our Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.

The job holder is one of the Senior Technical Services Engineers reporting to the Assistant Technical Services Manager. The purpose of this job is to maintain the energy database, prepare energy reports, identify energy conservation measures, and support utilities budget preparation. The job holder also acts as the job in charge to supervise building services contractors in implementing energy saving projects.

The Job

You will:

  • Undertake processing energy data from metering system, building management system and utilities billings to the energy database.
  • Prepare regular facilities management and energy reports.
  • Monitor building energy usage, analyse trends, identify areas for enhancing energy performance of building service systems, reasons for usage variance, and bill validation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify energy conservation and enhancement measures.
  • Conduct feasibility study, cost - benefit analysis and operational review to identify potential saving measures.
  • As the person in charge of preparing budgets, specifications, implementing projects, and conducting post implementation reviews of energy-saving projects.
  • Support annual planning activities such as utilities forecast and budgeting, and CAPEX recommendations.
  • Review and comment on building services designs with respect to achieving high energy efficiency, environmental conservation, sustainability, and facilitating future system performance and consumption monitoring.

About You

You should have:

  • A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
  • At least 4 years relevant experience in energy management and building services; solid experience in Testing & Commissioning knowledge and Building Management System is highly preferable
  • Experience in implementing the Building Energy Codes
  • Strong analytical ability and familiar with MS Office applications
  • Experience on BEAM Plus and LEED would be an advantage
