Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The general role of the Senior Director is to perform as a key member of IRE's APAC CPM team in ensuring timeliness and completeness of general business activities. Primary responsibility will include leading fundraising efforts in APAC and coordinating and facilitating with relevant teams in the launch / ongoing marketing of IRE's offerings (including coordinating prospect due diligence, RFP requests, questionnaires, on-boarding and servicing).

The role requires the ability to work across various Invesco teams, as well as external advisors, to ensure a structured approach, globally. Experience in client management within the alternatives investment industry and a high degree of organizational and interpersonal skills is also required.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

To act as point of contact for general APAC CPM functions and represent the CPM team in coordinating with Product Management, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting and Operations teams on various matters

Fundraising

  • Develop a concrete fundraising and marketing strategy targeting institutional clients
  • Identify and develop new investors by fostering relationships with the broader client base
  • Drive and manage fundraising pipeline, work closely with external placement agents and advisors
  • Engage closely with Product Management and / or Portfolio Management teams in preparation and delivery of requested materials and organizing logistics associated with roadshows and client meetings

Client On-boarding

  • Work with Product Management and / or Portfolio Management teams to coordinate onboarding through the provision of subscription documentation, assisting with the completion of documentation including KYC and liaison with relevant internal teams (legal, compliance, etc.) and external service providers

Investor Servicing

  • Collaborate with Product Management and / or Portfolio Management teams in managing investor communications, including maintenance of investor contact details and holding investor calls and meetings
  • Provide regular fund updates, market updates, and bespoke reports for selective clients
  • Liaise with IRE's wider global product management team and IVZ sales teams to ensure global consistency and coordination of client relationship management

Regional / Apac Cpm Support

  • Act as a key member of APAC CPM for general CPM business activities
  • Act as point of contact between Global CPMs and APAC CPMs for internal requests, logistics set-up, etc.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum 15+ year experience in Investor Relations, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, or similar role, within the alternatives industry (RE, Infrastructure, etc.)
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts
  • Detail oriented with a high level of professionalism and willingness to excel
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team member
  • Proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint / Word is a plus
