Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head of Insurance Product to lead the company's insurance product strategy and development. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Responsible Officer (RO) under the Hong Kong Insurance Authority regulations and possess a deep understanding of insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the insurance product strategy aligned with the companys' overall business objectives.
• Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and compliance, to ensure successful product positioning and delivery.
• Monitor product performance and profitability, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements or discontinuation.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Hong Kong insurance regulations and maintain the bank’s Responsible Officer status.
• Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, insurance partners, and industry associations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the insurance product team to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance product management or sales management or distribution management within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing insurance products.
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong insurance market and regulatory landscape.
• Qualified Responsible Officer (RO) with relevant licenses.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
