The Department of Psychology invites experienced and skilled practitioners in the field of clinical psychology for applications for the position of Professional Consultant (Clinical Psychology) commencing in either July 2025 or December 2025. 

Applicants should have (i) at least a professional Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, preferably a doctoral degree in Psychology; (ii) a minimum of 6-year, full-time relevant working experience in the field of clinical psychology; (iii) professional expertise and leadership, e.g., a team head overseeing one specialty of clinical psychology such as adult psychological problems, child/adolescent psychological problems, psychological needs in general medical settings, neuropsychology, etc; and (iv) excellent communication skills. Those with experience in classroom teaching and student supervision are especially welcome. 

The appointee is expected to contribute significantly to teaching courses related to clinical psychology for both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the Department. He/she will shoulder a fair share of departmental administrative duties, particularly in the MSSc and PsyD programmes in clinical psychology. 

Appointment(s) will initially be made on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
