Since 2011, Dayuse has been combining hotel availability and customer experience like no other on the market.
The objective is twofold: to bring additional clientele to hotels and offer a unique experience to customers!
WHO DO WE NEED?
Reporting to Dayuse’s commercial department based in Paris, the Market Leader APAC is responsible for managing the office based in Hong Kong, overseeing the company’s commercial activities in the APAC market (Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, etc.), which represents a significant portion of the company’s global business.
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
As Market Leader APAC, your mission will be to ensure commercial leadership in the APAC region and directly contribute to Dayuse's strategic growth in this key area.
You will play an essential role in developing and optimizing commercial performance by collaborating with the Account Managers/Sales teams to maximize long-term business impact.
Your main responsibilities include:
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the APAC market: Identify growth opportunities, expand the hotel portfolio with competitive offers.
- Drive commercial development by supporting Account Managers/Sales in contracting new hotels (sister properties and incoming requests, outbound prospecting) while ensuring constant market competitiveness: identification, qualification, negotiation, and validation of new hotels, ensuring their quality, competitiveness of their offers, and the incremental value of these new hotels compared to the existing portfolio.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers based in Paris to strengthen relationships with existing groups and attract new hotels that generate incremental value for the portfolio. Take over from the global Key Account team to address large accounts specific to the APAC region or local hotel groups.
Commercial Performance Optimization
- Oversee the performance of the APAC market: Support Account Managers in managing, retaining, and optimizing their hotel portfolios, monitor and analyze KPIs (availability, booking volume, average revenue, turnover, no-show rate, etc.) monthly to identify growth levers and ensure the achievement of objectives. To master necessary processes and tools, personally manage a small portfolio of hotels.
- Develop action plans based on market indicators: propose strategic adjustments from local dynamics and market data to maximize results.
- Establish reports for management.
- Competitive benchmarking (vs. nightly rates and vs. competitors): Regularly ensure that our hotel offerings are competitive (price, time slots, additional services, etc.) compared to competitors to capture a larger market share. Also, ensure that Dayuse rates are in line with hotel nightly rates, to ensure our customer value proposition (discount).
Team Management and Talent Engagement
- Lead and motivate the Account Managers/Sales teams: Help set individual goals in collaboration with management and ensure their achievement. Provide support to the teams in optimizing their hotel portfolios. Ensure functional management of the Customer Support teams. Overall, ensure the engagement and involvement of all employees on a daily basis.
- Foster a high-performance work environment: With the help of the HR team based in Paris, recruit new team members, ensure their training and onboarding, and support talent to ensure strong involvement and commitment to their missions, while ensuring smooth management of the local office (premises, work organization, etc.).
- Optimize processes and performance tools: While remaining consistent with the Group's guidelines, propose improvements in the commercial and hotel management processes, setting up monitoring tools to maximize team performance.
Direct Impact on Growth
- Collaborate with Key Account teams in Paris to ensure the commercial development of the region and take over new local accounts.
- Contribute to increasing Dayuse's market share in APAC: Through your initiatives, you will contribute to expanding the network of hotel partners and optimizing their performance.
- Contribute to the opening of new countries in the region.
Desired Profile
- You are bilingual, fluent in English in addition to Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
- You have a Master's degree or equivalent.
- You have managerial experience leading a team of at least 4 people.
- You have knowledge of Asian culture through one or more experiences in an Asian country.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an Account Manager or Area Manager.
- You have sales experience and a strong passion for business development and negotiation.
- You are proficient in using a CRM (ideally Hubspot).
- You have an analytical mindset and a data-driven approach, focused on numbers and results.
- Ideally, you have knowledge of the Hospitality or OTA market.
- You have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- You are flexible and able to travel regularly to our Paris offices (onboarding, reporting, etc.).
- You have a good command of office tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $400,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
