You will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation and fulfillment of the channel and brand strategy, for achieving the volume and profitability objectives for the assigned key customers (Key Accounts including CVS and petrol outlets).
As a Key Account Associate, you will:
Propose specific objectives for each assigned client, aiming to achieve both JTI sales volumes and other types of objectives.
Pursue the maximization of the profitability of the contracts with the assigned clients, aiming to increase P4P share in remuneration
Permanently follow and update the commercial conditions of the assigned clients, considering their performance and external factors.
Handle budget planning and management under responsible channels with priority on accuracy with ROI maximization on spendings.
Propose investments for each key client (Key Account), in accordance with the long-term / short-term strategies, financial calculations (P&L) and follow the implementation of the negotiated and agreed conditions to conclude contracts.
Ensure that contracts are approved by the specific functions within JTI – Finance, Taxes, Legal, etc., so as to avoid the potential generation of subsequent damages, in the execution of these contracts.
Assist on demand forecast planning for responsible accounts.
Propose and control the credit allocated to each customer, and collaborate with the financial department to ensure the company's cash flow.
Work together with the operations team to fulfill operational strategies (Sales Agent, logistics operations, centralized platforms (CDC)) and makes sure the contract conditions are met during specific agreed period
Coordinates resource to implement, monitor and maximize contractual benefits (JTI operational team, merchandising services, promotional activities and implementation of KA programs).
Initiate, develop and maintain a very good relationship with clients for business development through support in sales / deliveries, programs, communication with other relevant organizational functions / divisions (senior management, procurement, logistics, finance, legal and operations).
Conduct regular meetings (Business Reviews) with KA's relevant functions and ensure alignment on the deliverables and business objectives.
Monitor competition activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
Requirements:
Relevant experience preferably 2+ years in tobacco industry or FMCG industry in Hong Kong & Macau markets.
CVS management experience is a value-added but not a must.
University degree in Business Administration/ Marketing or equivalent
Fluent in Cantonese oral and written
Good English speaking, listening and writing
Knowledge of category management
Knowledge of Channel management (Planning & P&L proposals)
Customer Management skills
Analytical and category data synthesis skills (financials, volumes)
Good sales and negotiation skills
Good planning and organization skills
