Our client is a global financial institution and given their strong business process optimization and tech-driven strategies for next few years, and looking for an experienced Data Automation professional to join their Regional Finance team.

This is a newly created role aimed to take a data programming approach to enable better flow of end management reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Identify the areas for automation and develop programs to enable better use of large sets of data and obtain required financial and regulatory reports for internal and external purposes.
• Work with key team members to understand the current process flow, end results expected with a view to considerably reduce the man hours required currently.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and implement continuous improvements in process and outflows. Monitor the performance and appropriately communicate any issues.
• Work closely with the Finance Head and other senior stakeholders (CFO, BU leads), act as an advisor and escalation point from technology perspective

To be eligible for this position, you will require:

• Relevant degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Business Analytics / etc.
• Excellent programming skills in Python, Alt, DataIQ, SQL.
• Solid experience in automation with large volumes of complex data. Experience gained from financial services industry will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills, team player, ability to work independently.
