Senior Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Location: Hong Kong

Position Type:  Full Time, permanent

Reports to: Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily finance and accounting operations
• Responsible for financial statements, KPI and management reporting for month end closing, quarterly reporting and YE closing
• Act as the key finance business partner for different business units
• Deliver analysis and provide insights for performance drivers
• Manage monthly forecast and annual budget
• Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations, responsible for statutory audit, profit tax filing for HK, Singapore branch and Taiwan branch
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
• Provide ad hoc financial support for local and regional projects and special assignments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.  CPA qualification is a must
• Minimum of 10 years solid experience in accounting, audit experience with recognized audit firms is a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.  Knowledge in SAP would be an advantage.
• Experience in system enhancement and transformation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
• Able to handle multi-task, self-motivated, well organized with a strong sense of accountability
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule in a dynamic working environment independently
