Our client, a renowned global financial institution with a strong market presence, is seeking a highly skilled AML Compliance Specialist to support its regulatory and operational framework. This position starts as a 1-year contract role, with the possibility of extension or a conversion to a permanent position. The role offers a hybrid (onsite/WFH) work arrangement .

As an AMLCompliance Specialist , you will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducting AML compliance and KYC/CDD operational processes in adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Reviewing and verifying customer documentation to ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial crime risks through comprehensive due diligence assessments.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide expert guidance on AML-related matters and ensure consistent compliance execution.
  • Analyzing and monitoring transactions to detect suspicious activities and escalate findings where necessary.
  • Assisting in regulatory reporting and maintaining compliance-related documentation and records.
  • Supporting the implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency in compliance functions.

To be considered for this role as an AML Compliance Specialist , you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or English Language.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in AML Compliance or KYC/CDD operations within the banking or insurance industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in team-oriented environments.
  • Strong business writing skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in compliance reports and documentation is a plus
