Main Purpose of Job:
This client-facing role, externally known as the Business Development Manager, Training & Health Economy will join DBT HK and sit within the Healthcare, Life Science and Education team. This role will be responsible for driving trade and investment in sectors such as Digital Health, Biopharmaceuticals, MedTech, R&D, Transnational Education (TNE), EdTech and more.
Job Summary:
- Identify and generate leads to drive trade and investment against specific KPI in the health economy and training training and health economy field. (i.e. help UK companies export to Hong Kong and steer HK companies to invest in the UK)
- Play a leading role in coordinating trade shows, buyer matching and trade missions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends and competitor activities
- Support in business planning and sector reporting
- Collaborate with Marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Hold a higher diploma or above with minimum 3 years of relevant work experiences in sales/marketing/business development
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Exhibit curiosity and interests in healthcare and education sectors, ability to learn quickly and a can-do attitude
