We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join a listed company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the group consolidation process for both interim and year-end financial statements, specifically focusing on Hong Kong (HK) and  (PRC) entities. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, consolidation procedures, and regulatory requirements in both regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation for HK and PRC entities in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules for interim and year-end reporting.
  • Coordinate with local accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data submission.
  • Review and analyze financial data from subsidiaries to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports , budget forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Liaise with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Monitor changes in accounting regulations and update consolidation processes accordingly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in group consolidation.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in group consolidation, preferably with experience from professional firm (audit firm).
  • Strong knowledge of HK and PRC accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Accounting Manager.
