Our client is an experienced Head of IT to lead our organization's IT infrastructure and strategy. This role is critical in establishing a robust IT framework, ensuring network security, and developing policies that align with the client's business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Setup : Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Network Management : Oversee network architecture and security measures to protect organizational data and enhance performance.
• Policy Development : Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures that support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• IT Strategy : Collaborate with the management team to formulate and communicate the IT strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy.
• Team Leadership : Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
• Risk Management : Identify potential IT risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity.
• Vendor Management : Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to optimize costs and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience :
• Over 18 years of working experiences, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a strong focus on infrastructure, network, and security.
• Proven track record of managing IT teams and projects in both infrastructure and applications.
• Experience in sell-side, exchange, settlement/clearing, or middle office operations would be an advantage.

Skills :

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of current IT trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication in English, Cantonese / Chinese language would be an advantage but not essential.
• Candidates with experiences setting up new team / operations / division will be an advantage.
