Associate Director (Risk Management and Compliance)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis on issues relating to Exchange Fund investment activities and HKMA's enterprise risk management
• Handle the full life cycle of placements with the Exchange Fund in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in addressing enquiries related to the Exchange Fund
• Provide support to administrative and consolidation tasks and perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in risk management, finance, investment management, accountancy, economics or related fields
• At least three years of relevant experience in risk management, investment management or financial services
• Solid knowledge of investment products, risk and internal controls a definitive advantage
• Broad general knowledge, high versatility and flexibility, great attention to details, good logical and critical thinking, and a sharp and analytical mind
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and professional report-writing skills
• A self-starter and a team player, including able to work with others to achieve desirable objectives
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willing to take up challenges and proactively identify and resolve issues
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
