Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of the Local SME Bank Loan Product Team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of loan products tailored for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a deep understanding of the SME lending landscape, and a commitment to supporting local businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of product managers and specialists in the SME lending segment.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision for SME loan products, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall goals.
• Identify market trends and customer needs to inform product development and enhancements.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing performance evaluation.
• Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and align with the bank's risk management framework
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create effective go-to-market strategies for SME loan products.
• Monitor product performance and provide insights to optimize sales efforts
• Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, industry associations, and community organizations.
• Gather customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for SME loan products and track progress against targets.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on product performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Extensive experience in product management or development within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on SME lending.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of the SME market and the challenges faced by local businesses.
