Position Overview

We are an international basketball culture-based park that offers a comprehensive basketball experience and training services for youth and basketball enthusiasts. We are looking for an exceptional coach with professional basketball instruction expertise and extensive competition and training experience to serve as our Technical Director (Head Coach) . The role involves enhancing our basketball training programs and nurturing local Chinese coaching talent.

Responsibilities

Basketball Training Instruction

• Design and implement basketball skill training programs, including fundamental skills, tactical coordination, and physical conditioning.
• Evaluate the abilities and levels of trainees to create individualized training plans.

Coach Team Development

• Provide systematic training and guidance to the local Chinese coaching team, sharing advanced coaching philosophies and methodologies.
• Establish and refine management and evaluation systems for coaches to promote rapid professional growth among local coaches.

Event & Competition Planning

• Lead trainees in various youth and amateur leagues, offering guidance on tactics and adjustments as needed.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and running basketball carnivals, experience camps, and other events to enhance the park’s brand influence.

Training Quality Management

• Regularly assess training outcomes, gather feedback from trainees and the coaching team, and continuously improve teaching methods.
• Formulate training standards and protocols, and implement safety management measures to ensure the well-being of trainees and facility safety.

Organizational Communication & Marketing Support

• Collaborate with the marketing and operations departments to support enrollment initiatives and park event promotions.
• Regularly update management on training progress and the development of the coaching team, providing insights for decision-making.

Requirements

Professional Background :

• Educational background in basketball or experience as a retired professional player. Experience with the NBA related areas is preferred.

Coaching Experience :

• Demonstrated experience in basketball training and coaching at various levels, from youth to adults.

Team Management :

• Strong leadership skills and team management capabilities, with excellent communication and motivational skills.

Language Skills :

• Fluency in English is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with international coaches. Basic Chinese language skills are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: CNY 14,000 - 17,000 per month
