Job Description:

We seek an experienced and highly skilled  Senior WordPress Frontend Developer  to join our team on a freelance/per-project basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress frontend development, focusing on creating visually appealing, high-performance, and user-friendly websites. You will work on multiple domains, collaborating with our team to enhance existing sites and implement new features.

Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain:  Build and maintain WordPress websites with a strong focus on front-end design, user experience, and performance.
• UI/UX Implementation:  Implement engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly UI/UX designs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
• Performance Optimization:  Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and seamless navigation using tools like Lighthouse and GTmetrix.
• QA & Testing:  Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to ensure website reliability, security, and a bug-free experience.
• SEO Best Practices:  Implement SEO best practices, including optimizing meta tags and alt text and ensuring fast load times.
• Collaboration:  Work closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to implement design updates and enhancements.
• Accessibility:  Ensure websites are accessible and comply with WCAG standards.
• Version Control:  Use Git or other version control systems to manage code changes.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience:  Minimum of 5+ years in WordPress frontend development.
• Technical Skills:  Strong proficiency in  HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress theme development . Knowledge of PHP is a plus.
• Responsive Design Expertise:  Experience optimizing websites for mobile and various screen sizes.
• Advanced JavaScript​:  Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js is preferred.
• API Integration:  Experience with REST API or GraphQL integration.
• Page Builders & Plugins:  Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar WordPress page builders.
• Design Tools:  Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Attention to Detail:  Strong QA and debugging skills to ensure website reliability.
• Communication:  Ability to work independently while maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Freelance Experience:  Prior freelance or remote work experience is a plus.

• Time Management:  Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Problem-Solving:  Excellent problem-solving skills for debugging and optimizing complex websites.
• Adaptability:  Ability to adapt to changing project requirements or technologies.
