About the role

Parlain Co Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Company Accountant to join our dynamic team in our Tsim Sha Tsui office. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the growth and success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and financial reporting tools (experience with Odoo is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
