Primary Purpose

This position is responsible for providing professional advice and training on safety and optimal use of company products, enhancing procedural applications, and facilitating knowledge sharing regarding product updates in the Asia Pacific Region.
 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and support training sessions for healthcare professionals in the APAC region, providing ongoing assistance and guidance to ensure the safe and effective use of Olympus products 
  • Manage the allocation, inspection, and CDS processes for training equipment in the warehouse to facilitate efficient training workshops 
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and develop training models that promote optimal hands-on practice 
  • Stay updated on the latest product developments in key business units, maintain a comprehensive understanding of product utilization, and provide feedback to enhance training course development 
  • Share best practices and expertise with local Clinical Application Specialists of OPD knowledge and skills 
  • Assist managers in developing and executing assigned tasks and projects for regional training groups (NGO) 
  • Support and coordinate the planning and implementation of educational activities in alignment with Medical Scientific Affairs Development policies and priority measures 
  • Support managers to develop and implement any other duties and projects as and when assigned 
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder, major in medical or scientific related fields with surgical/endoscopic background is preferred 
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience from surgical or medical industry, with business experience in product demonstration, installation, and usage instruction 
  • Strong work ethic with quality-first mindset and able to work in a multicultural & global environment 
  • Quickly learns about Olympus medical devices and their applications in gastrointestinal, respiratory, and surgical fields 
  • Proficient in delivering knowledge and technical expertise for the optimal operation of Olympus products during clinical procedures to enhance trainee skills 
  • Strong technical skills in configuring, troubleshooting, and utilizing Olympus medical devices 
  • Willingness to travel across APAC countries, including India, Vietnam and others 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in spoken and written English and Chinese/Mandarin 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
