The Flowerdale Group is a single-family office based in Hong Kong, with a global investment mandate across public markets, real estate and private investment.

 

We are looking for a reliable & trustworthy Finance Manager to join our small, tight-knit team of professionals.  An ideal candidate has experience in the accounting function of a family office, in fund/investment accounting, or similar and has exposure to tax and global investment structures. 

 

The role reports to the Director based in Central, Hong Kong and offers the opportunity for a long-term home in your career with stability and flexibility.  There is endless opportunity for growth & new challenges as the family office continues to expand.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ownership and oversight of the entire accounting & bookkeeping function within the Family Office.
  • Create, design, and update a full set of monthly consolidated financial reports & analysis for all family office entities 
  • Rigorous control over treasury & payments for the group and ensuring liquidity for all entities within the Family Office.
  • Work with external tax advisers and auditors to complete annual tax returns and meet statutory requirements for entities across various jurisdictions.
  • Assisting with company secretary matters and compliance filings (KYC, CRS, FATCA, W8 forms, etc.).
  • Work with & support the Director on ad-hoc projects, including discovery and implementation of new tools/software to improve the process of the family office.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Degree holder with CPA (or equivalent) qualification required.
  • Fluency in both written & spoken English is essential.
  • Previous experience working or living overseas is preferred, given the international nature of the family office
  • Between 8 to 15 years of work experience, preferably with experience in the accounting function of a family office, fund accounting, fund administration, or similar role.
  • Experience and desire to work in a small team with a high degree of accountability. 
  • Integrity is of the utmost importance and previous experience in high-trust roles is desirable.
  • Exposure to global jurisdictions, compliance, and tax matters is a bonus.
