IT Helpdesk Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the operations and maintenance of terminals, desktops, printers, mobile phones and tablets, and other electronic devices, etc. 

2. Responsible for the maintenance and on-site support of conference equipment. 

3. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of IT server room and infrastructure hardware. 

4. Responsible for the management of IT fixed assets and software licenses. 

5. Responsible for the follow-up of IT equipment and cable networking. 

6. Responsible for the operation, maintenance and authority management of file servers, DHCP and other systems in Hong Kong.

 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Computer Networking. Possession of professional certificate is a definite advantage. 

2. More than 3 years of experience in desktop operation and maintenance, preferably those with working experience in sizable enterprise background; 

3. Familiar with Windows systems, MacOS systems, and Linux systems capable to terminal system operation and maintenance capabilities; 

4. Familiar with the installation and maintenance of computers, conference equipment, printers, etc.; 

5. Be familiar with network operation and maintenance knowledge, and operate and maintain wifi, intranet, Internet and other daily user problems; 

6. Understand basic system operation and maintenance such as DHCP\DNS\file server, with knowledge on file server permission management logic; 

7. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin; 

8. Good user service awareness, teamwork, and communication skills; 

9. Flexible to handle urgent IT emergency situations outside normal working hours.
