About the role
As the manager / executive of merchant partnership, you will play a key role in establishing relationships with merchants and drive transaction volume. You will execute the yearly, quarterly and monthly planning process and assist the merchant partnership team yearly action plan .
About the job:
- Develop and implement merchant acquisition strategies to drive the marketplace business growth
- Source and close partnerships with top-tier, mid to small-sized merchants in the selected product categories and oversees the merchant onboarding process
- Proactively engage our merchants to understand their needs and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Generate competitive insights and deliver effective proposals to accelerate the business growth
- Collaborate with our technical, operations, and marketing teams to enhance merchants’ experience and operational efficiency of the marketplace business
About the people:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably with experience in e-commerce, consumer goods or related fields, candidate with sales experience in beauty industry will also be considered (candidates with less experience might be considered for junior positions)
- Demonstrated track record of developing new opportunities, closing top-tier accounts and exceeding sales target
- Strong commercial sense and execution abilities with a goal-oriented mindset
- Existing network among top-tier accounts in skincare, makeup, supplements, health categories is a plus
- Experience of working in a high growth tech startup is highly desired
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Manager
