Business Segment Overview

Job Purpose:

The Financial Operations team is a critical component of our client’s operations, focusing on client fund management. Their mission is to deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring operational excellence and leveraging the talents of their dedicated, service-oriented team. The team works closely with Sales, Client Services, and Compliance to ensure that customer transactions are processed promptly and accurately, ensuring a positive client experience.

Primary Duties:

• Support back-office operations by processing customer transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers).
• Facilitate inbound and outbound payments.
• Learn and use various banking systems to execute treasury operations.
• Assist in managing risks related to financial transactions.
• Keep management informed about any processing issues or concerns.
• Manage internal projects or individual tasks as assigned.
• Embrace a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and participating in opportunities to enhance client treasury processes.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, with strong verbal and written communication.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven ability to thrive within a solution-driven team environment.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to multitask and proactively contribute as a team player.
• Able to self-manage efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and client SLAs in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for learning about Financial Operations and Global Banking.
• Previous experience in financial operations, back-office roles, customer service, or payment portals/software is a plus.
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English.
