Executive Summary
One client is one of the key players in advanced technologies development in Hong Kong and Asia. In view of the rapid expansion & continuous growth of the organization, they are looking for a high-caliber Manager of IT Operations for High Performance Computing (HPC).
He/she will oversee IT services for over 500+ users. Responsibilities include managing IT service processes, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing business impact from incidents, and acting as the Change Manager for infrastructure changes.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid IT background, particularly in service management and HPC, looking to contribute to a dynamic tech environment.
Major Responsibilities
- Establish and manage support services for various IT platforms.
- Ensure daily IT operations meet best practices and KPIs.
- Implement and foster ITIL processes across IT and outsourced teams.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for outsourcing operations.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver effective IT services.
- Track incidents and problems with outsourced providers.
- Automate repetitive incidents and operational tasks.
- Communicate significant incidents to users.
- Escalate critical incidents to management promptly.
- Manage infrastructure changes and oversee Change Management meetings.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant IT experience with a focus on service delivery.
- ITIL implementation experience or certification is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of data center operations, networking, and production support.
- Solid knowledge with High Performance Computing (HPC) is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficient in business Chinese and English (written and spoken).
