Duties: The appointee is a member of IT Service Desk team and will be responsible for providing deskside support, end-user training and deploying digital solution related to office computing technology on a daily basis. He/She will also need to prepare various IT operation documents, including service and incident reports, statistical summaries, management updates, and technical reviews, under the supervision of a team leader. Additionally, the appointee is also expected to facilitate the delivery of assigned projects from time to time and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
disciplines;
(b) At least 3 years’ working experience in IT services and digital solution support;
(c) Technical knowledge and support experience in common desktop/office automation
solutions and end-user computing is necessary, including Microsoft 365, Windows OS,
PC and Tablet and etc.;
(d) Process knowledge/qualifications in one or more of the followings is an advantage:
(e) Working with 'can-do' attitude, detail-minded, self-motivated and agility;
(f) Good analytical, problem-solving and user management skills;
(g) Good communication skills in both oral and written Chinese and English;
(h) May be required to work at different office locations of the Authority.
Candidate with less working experience may be considered for the post of Information
Technology Assistant.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications
and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF
benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts
subject to performance and staffing needs.
