A well-known financial organisation which focusses on managing the Exchange Fund is looking for a talented Data Platform Engineer for their IT team.

Your new role

• Developing and improving data platform solutions, such as data lakes, data visualisation, and data virtualisation
• Perform acceptance testing and proof-of-concept for data platforms
• Create services and incorporate both internal and external APIs into them
• Find and assess emerging technologies that enhance our infrastructure's scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Deliver software in a continuous delivery environment, collaborate closely with product owners, platform engineers, and architects
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ years of experience in developing data platforms; delivery of large-scale data infrastructure (including hundreds of TB) is very much wanted
• Hands on with Infrastructure Code (IaC) and system design
• DevOps pipeline design(CI/CD Suite: Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Git), implementation, and management experience in a large enterprise setting is preferred
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and AliCloud) and any associated certifications are advantageous
• Proficient in data engineering such as Airflow, Spark; and Data Lake Framework such as Apache Hudi/ Iceberg etc
• Programming skills, in any one of these programming languages (Java, Node.js, Python)
