Investment Banking Analyst

Our Client:

An investment bank is looking to add an Analyst to their team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation modeling, and due diligence.
• Conduct industry research and market analysis to support deal origination and strategic recommendations.
• Prepare high-quality presentation materials, pitch books, and investment memorandums for clients.
• Support senior team members in structuring and negotiating transaction terms.
• Engage with clients, counterparties, and other stakeholders in deal execution processes.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights into potential investment opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from a top-tier university.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is required; proficiency in English is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
