Senior Conference/ Event Manager - Fintech

My client is a Fintech marketing event provider who is seeking a Senior Conference/ Event Manager to join their team.

Your new role

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the latest financial market movements and stay informed about developments in FinTech, Web3, AI, and ESG.
  
• Manage program planning for various activities like conferences, VIP functions, global seminars, and business networking events.
  
• Identify and extend invitations to key speakers and stakeholders for events.
  
• Cultivate strong relationships with speakers and stakeholders.
  
• Participate in industry gatherings to build connections and rapport.
  
• Coordinate all aspects of speaker and VIP invitations and handle media enquiries.
  
• Create conference agendas and oversee logistical arrangements for VIPs and speakers.
  
• Support logistical planning throughout event cycles, from pre-event to post-event coordination.
  
• Collaborate with various teams and liaise with sponsors and speakers during event production.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree holder of Marketing, Event management, Communication, Journalism, or related discipline.
  
• 5+ years of experience in large scale and regional event management.
  
• Skilled at inviting speakers, event coordinations and logistics.
  
• Prior experience in start-ups or SMEs.
  
• Excellent command of the English language, written and spoken,
  
• Familiarity with or interest in Web3, Technology, FinTech, and Finance sectors and trends.
  
• Friendly and confident demeanour with a focus on providing excellent experiences for VIPs and speakers.
