We are currently looking for a highly motivated self portfolio management analyst to support the Nordic team and investment organization in its daily operations and macro analysis. The role is based in Hong Kong. The scope of work for the Portfolio Analyst are (yet not limited) to the following:  


Responsibilities


  • Responsible to deliver and follow up on key specific macro leading indicator database, forecasts, assumptions and review


  • Develop and update macro, industry and company specific key databases, leading indicators and inhouse macro indictor forecast models and incorporate key views from industry expert seminars or from sell side brokerage roadshows


  • Maintain and develop internal review structures, processes, templates and tools for its investment company reviews / industry screening processes, databases, template, portfolio company, and portfolio performance measurements


  • Leverage investment team research and coverage to prepare investor meetings, roadshow, homepage, annual reports, newsletter and related insight articles 


  • To conduct on demand specific research of leading market/ industry indicators or related operational items


  • Gradual Inhouse coverage of specific segments of the investment portfolio related to key macro themes


Qualifications


  • +3-5 years relevant working experiences either from equity research (buy side or sell side) or from related portfolio / asset management industry sector  


  • Master's degree or above from well recognized university in the field of accounting, finance and investments.


  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English both oral and written


  • Take responsibility and ownership for models, forecasts and post announcement follow up


  • Exceptional written communication and basic programming skills preferred


  • High-quality standards for content accuracy and attention to details


  • Hands-on and self-motivated with an ability to independently structure, priorities own work schedule


  • High Integrity, strong-minded, pressure resistance, independent thinking, international mindset


  • Humble, eager to learn with an entrepreneurial mindset to join a highly passionate and ambitions team to develop a unique team and culture to provide high quality service to our internal & external stakeholders
