Leigh & Orange Ltd leading a multi-disciplinary sub-consultant team is looking for suitable applicants to take up the following position for a new Student Hostel Development in the City University of Hong Kong at Tat Hong Avenue, Kowloon Tong.

This project involves construction of site formation, foundation, sub-structure and superstructure of podium in conventional RC construction, while the residential hostel towers are of MiC construction.

Resident Clerk of Works (RCOW) (Ref:LO-RCOW(CityU)-202502)

  • Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years’ relevant post-qualification experience.
  • With relevant experience in site safety supervision. Candidate with Degree certificate, Diploma or Higher Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or in Construction Safety are preferred.
  • Experience on MiC project or precast construction is an advantage. 
  • Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)/ Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent.
  • Need to travel to PRC periodically for off-site inspection of prefabrication elements.
  • Duration: From April 2025 for 24 months employment contract with further extension as appropriate.

[Note * Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth]
