Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager

About the role

Universal Technologies Holdings Limited is a company listed on the main board of HK with finance business in HK and water business in the PRC. We are looking for a high caliber candidate to join our accounting team. We invite motivated individuals with a strong commitment to excellence to join our finance team located in Sheung Wan, Central and Western District. This full-time position is integral to supporting the company’s financial accounting and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting functions duties including bookkeeping, full sets of account and monthly management accounts;
• Prepare SFC FRR reporting;
• Participate in due diligence, merger and acquisition exercises;
• Perform compliance and assist in company secretarial functions;
• Develop and implement compliance internal review program;
• Develop, review Companies' policies and procedures;
• Liaise with government bodies and handle regulators’ enquiry;
• Handle FACTA and CRS reporting;
• Provide compliance training to staff to raise the compliance awareness;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirement

• Degree holder or above in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines;
• Minimum of 2 years of listed companies, securities and asset management firms experience or relevant financial institutions;
• Knowledge in SFC Liquid Capital calculation and FRR Return is a MUST;
• Profound knowledge of SFC regulations, SFO and HKEx regulations;
• Good command of English and Chinese in both written and spoken, Mandarin is a plus;
• Occasional travel to PRC and overseas is required; and
• Immediately available will be a definite advantage
