We are looking for an experienced Associate Fixed Income IT Business Analyst to join our investment banking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology initiatives and solutions related to fixed-income trading and analytics. This role requires a thorough understanding of fixed-income markets and the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT teams to deliver impactful technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with fixed-income trading and sales teams to understand their technology needs and requirements.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system functionalities related to fixed-income trading.
• Develop and implement technology solutions to enhance trading performance and efficiency.
• Work closely with IT teams to design, test, and deploy new trading platforms and systems.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for trading systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement and system enhancement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
• Prepare and present reports and updates to senior management on technology initiatives and their impact on trading operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 - 12 years of experience in a business analyst role within the financial services industry, with a focus on fixed-income trading and IT solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income Cash, FX, or Interest Rate Derivatives and their trade lifecycle is a great plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) and familiarity with trading platforms and systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, FIX protocol).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to fixed-income trading.
