Responsibility

• Work in mid / night shift to support the post-trade processing and settlement for US market and clients;
• Handle post-trade processing, i.e. trade matching via CTM, trade confirmation etc, of securities and futures in HK / US and other overseas markets and performing settlement in back office system;
• Deal with custodians and clients on settlement issues, and escalate to management and business promptly;
• Handle the client’s instructions on sub-accounts setup, SSI, CTM, fund deposit/withdrawal and securities transfer instructions;
• Monitor the operations are processed are in compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements;
• Handle ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

• Degree holders in finance or related disciplines;
• In-depth knowledge in back office operations, regulatory requirements and operational risk management;
• Knowledge of financial products and market practices;
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills;
• Hands on experience in the operation of CCASS and DTC;
• Familiar with International matching and clearing platforms such as DTC, CTM DTCC and NyFIX is preferred;
• Detailed-oriented and sensitive to number;
• 2 - 5 years’ relevant experience in settlement and financial industry preferred;
• Basic knowledge in derivatives products is preferred.
